Why Holzfforma G660 Chainsaw is an Incredible Cutting Tool

Holzfforma’s design is not so different from the rest of the chainsaws, like Husqvarna or Stihl that I tested. However, what makes it stand out is its low 17.63 lbs weight. For a professional-grade chainsaw, I’d say that this is more than impressive.
The carbon-steel chainsaw is relatively easy to lift and use, and I’m sure that most users will be able to manage the weight of the chainsaw. More importantly, the cutting tool comes with all the features you should expect in a heavy-duty chainsaw.
Its functions are well-defined and straightforward to use. Also, due to the carbon steel body, the chainsaw can withstand everyday use and extreme weather.
Powerful Engine & Motor
The powerful engine and motor are what best define the capabilities of Holzfforma G660. This chainsaw runs on a 2-stroke 92cc gasoline engine, capable of achieving the best cutting result. Additionally, the engine runs at a top speed of 13500 RPM and an idle speed of 2500 RPM, enough to make the most delicate and toughest cuts.
One thing I find very pleasing about the G660 is its 7 HP engine power. With this monstrous engine power, you can make any heavy-duty cuts in lesser time. Professional users will find this cutting tool loveable due to their enormous strength and powerhouse.
Minimal Gas & Oil
Due to the chainsaw’s engine powerhouse, one would assume that its fuel consumption would be astronomical. On the contrary, the reverse is the case.
G660 uses the lowest possible fuel for woodworking projects, with a fuel mixing ratio of 25:1.
I was quite surprised that only a small quantity of gas was enough to cut through my 30+ inches timbers. This speaks volumes of how economical the chainsaw is.
The fuel tank size is 0.825L. When filled, it can power you for an entire cutting duration and even beyond. However, I advise that you keep the fuel tank filled up if using the chainsaw for the first time to avoid inefficiency.
The chain lubrication system is good, with an automatic oil pump that discharges oil from the 0.36L oil tank size to prevent the engine from knocks.
Effective Cutting Blade
As earlier stated in this Farmertec Holzfforma G660 review, the chainsaw’s blade’s cutting power is superb, as it cuts through wood accurately.
It comes with a 0.063-inch chain gauge and a ⅜” 20-inch guide bar, but compatible with 25, 28, 32, and 36 inches bar chain. This means you can take off a bar chain from an old, ravaged chainsaw and install it in the G660, so long as it’s compatible.
Air Filter
The chainsaw has a high-performing air filter system that protects the engine from specks of dust and particles capable of damaging the motor if accumulated.
The built-in air filters are mostly made of highly-resistant papers that ensure the engine runs smoothly.
One of the things I love about the air filter is that it’s reusable. Once it gets dirty, all you have to do is wash it and then put it back on. This saves you money from replacing it frequently.
Quick Start Option
This chainsaw’s starting system is one of the easiest. Thanks to the premium-grade magnesium alloy recoil starter.
It’s effortless to start, and as a first-timer, I didn’t find starting it tough at all. However, it took me quite a few minutes to understand that the carburetor had to be slightly adjusted before it could start.
The magnesium alloy recoil starter is a system that allows for rapid and convenient starting. The starting system is light, and with an easy to pull starting rope, the user’s effort to start the machine is minimized drastically. In one or two yanks, you can begin to use the device.
Comfortable Handling
This chainsaw’s handle is super easy to grasp and comfortable to handle. Thanks to the Luxury Wrap. Users can control the machine with absolute comfort.
Additionally, the easy to grasp handle makes cutting maneuverability seamless, despite the weight of the chainsaw. While testing, I used ut for several hours, with no undue hand and arm fatigue.
Holzfforma G660 may not have the easiest of all handles. But if you plan on using a commercial-grade chainsaw for long hours, it will make a great choice.
Ease of Use and Assembly
With the comprehensive manual, users won’t find it hard to learn about operating the machine. Though the chainsaw is mostly made for commercial use and experts, the manual helps to solve cases where there are loose bolts and nuts or when the machine is slightly faulty.
With the detailed manual, there wouldn’t be any need to take the machine to a repair shop, as you can do the repairs yourself, especially if it’s a minor one.
The chainsaw’s assembling isn’t the easiest, though, as I somewhat experienced some difficulties adjusting the chain bar.
